Clearing a parent's house is hard enough without the heavy lifting. Calvin works with families and estate executors to clear what is left.

Many estate jobs come after an estate sale. What did not sell still has to go.

What goes on the truck

  • Estate sale leftovers
  • Furniture and beds
  • Clothing and linens
  • Kitchen and household goods
  • Garage and shop contents
  • Large or heavy items

The full list of what goes on the truck, and what doesn't.

Respect for family belongings

Photos, papers and keepsakes turn up in drawers and closets.

One customer had Calvin haul everything left after a large estate sale, including a heavy hoist she did not think could be moved. He took it apart and it went.

Donation first

Usable furniture and household goods go to Furnished Hope, Habitat for Humanity ReStore and Goodwill. Metal and recyclables go to recycling. Only what is left goes to the landfill.

Pianos and heavy items go on the same truck. See piano removal. For listing the home after, see real estate cleanouts.

Families out of town

Many families settling an estate in Bend live somewhere else. Calvin can work from a list and a key. Once access and the price are agreed, he clears the house.

Payment is cash, check, card or Venmo. The estimate is free.

Working on the family's timeline

Families often need a few days to go through a house before anything leaves. Calvin works around that. Set aside what is being kept, mark what goes to a relative, and he takes the rest. If something unexpected turns up, like a box of photos in a closet, ask him to set it aside for you.

Estate jobs are often more than one load. A full house with a garage and a shed can fill the truck more than once, and Calvin says so in the estimate. The realtor handling the sale can book the job and arrange access the same way the family would.

How the price works

Text a photo of what needs to go to (541) 706-1756. Calvin looks at how much room it takes on the truck and texts back one number for the whole job. No hourly rate. Jobs start at $100. The only add-ons: stairs +$25, appliance with freon +$40, tires +$10. He tells you before he starts. More on how pricing works.

“Did an incredible job hauling away all the unsold items from a huge estate sale. They even took apart a huge heavy hoist that I thought could never be moved but they did it. Super efficient and hard working. I would definitely recommend and use again.”
