Calvin hauls one sectional or every piece in a house before it sells. He takes furniture from basements, attics, upper floors and tight hallways.

A patio set or a home office desk can go on the same trip as the living room couch.

What goes on the truck

  • Couches, sectionals and recliners
  • Dressers, nightstands and bed frames
  • Dining tables and chairs
  • Bookshelves and entertainment centers
  • Desks, filing cabinets and office chairs
  • Patio furniture

The full list of what goes on the truck, and what doesn't.

Usable furniture gets a second life

A good couch should not end up in a landfill. Pieces in decent shape go to Furnished Hope, Habitat for Humanity ReStore or Goodwill.

Broken or stained pieces get sorted. Metal frames go to recycling, and only what is left goes to the landfill.

Single pieces and whole houses

A single recliner is a small job. A full house of furniture is a bigger one.

Mattresses usually ride along with bedroom furniture. See mattress removal. For an entire home, house cleanouts cover everything at once.

Getting heavy pieces out

A sleeper sofa or a solid wood dresser is heavier than it looks. Calvin plans the route out before lifting and works around railings and tight corners.

Once the route is clear, Calvin loads each piece onto his 18-yard dump truck.

How the price works

Text a photo of what needs to go to (541) 706-1756. Calvin looks at how much room it takes on the truck and texts back one number for the whole job. No hourly rate. Jobs start at $100. The only add-ons: stairs +$25, appliance with freon +$40, tires +$10. He tells you before he starts. More on how pricing works.

“Did an incredible job hauling away all the unsold items from a huge estate sale. They even took apart a huge heavy hoist that I thought could never be moved but they did it. Super efficient and hard working. I would definitely recommend and use again.”

Questions

Questions about furniture removal.

Will you take apart a bed frame or sectional?
Yes. Calvin disassembles pieces on site when that is what it takes to get them out.
Does my furniture get donated?
Yes, if it is in decent shape. Donation comes first, before recycling or the landfill.
Do you take office furniture?
Yes. Desks, chairs and filing cabinets. See commercial junk removal for bigger office jobs.
Can you take furniture from upstairs?
Yes. Stairs are +$25.
How do I pay?
Cash, check, credit card or Venmo.
Do you do couch removal?
Yes. Couches, sectionals, sleeper sofas and recliners all go. Calvin carries them out from where they sit.
Can heavy pieces come out over nice floors?
Yes. One customer had a media center of more than 300 pounds taken out over cherry floors and a tile entry, and Calvin brought the tools and equipment to do it carefully.
Can I keep some pieces?
Yes. Point out what stays, and Calvin works around it.
