An old manufactured home that cannot be moved still has to go before a lot can be reused. Calvin tears it down on site and hauls it away in his 18-yard dump truck.

This is one of the biggest jobs Calvin does. The price is set by how much room it takes on the truck.

What goes on the truck

  • Single-wide homes
  • Double-wide homes
  • Skirting and steps
  • Porches and add-on rooms
  • Contents left inside
  • Carports and awnings

Before the teardown

Anything left inside can go on the same job.

A photo gets you a free estimate. When Calvin gets there, he'll give you a price and you can decide.

How the home comes down

The home comes down in sections and is loaded load by load. Metal goes to metal recyclers. The rest goes to the landfill.

For a whole property, add RV removal or shed removal. See also demolition and haul away.

Why remove an old manufactured home

An old manufactured home that has reached the end of its life holds a lot back. Removing it opens the property up again.

Calvin takes on these jobs across Central Oregon, including rural lots outside town. A far drive can raise the minimum. Payment is cash, check, card or Venmo.

Getting the lot ready

Before teardown day, the power, water, gas and sewer to the home need to be shut off and disconnected by whoever handles each one. Anything the family wants to keep should come out first, along with fuel, paint and chemicals from the sheds and under the sink.

Skirting, steps and porches come off first. Then the home comes apart in pieces small enough to carry and load. The frame and other metal are set aside for recycling. Foundations and large amounts of concrete stay where they are, so plan for the next step on the lot before the work starts.

How the price works

Text a photo of what needs to go to (541) 706-1756. Calvin looks at how much room it takes on the truck and texts back one number for the whole job. No hourly rate. Jobs start at $100. The only add-ons: stairs +$25, appliance with freon +$40, tires +$10. He tells you before he starts. More on how pricing works.

“Did an incredible job hauling away all the unsold items from a huge estate sale. They even took apart a huge heavy hoist that I thought could never be moved but they did it. Super efficient and hard working. I would definitely recommend and use again.”
