Shed and contents together
No need to empty the shed first. Calvin clears the contents, then takes the structure apart and loads it. Paint, fuel and chemicals stored inside cannot go and need to be removed before he starts.
If the shed has power, have it disconnected by an electrician.
Slabs stay put
Concrete slabs and footings are usually left in place. Wood floors and skids go with the shed.

On a rural lot with more than one old outbuilding, Calvin can take down several on the same visit and haul them in as many loads as it takes.

Wood sheds come apart wall by wall. Metal sheds are unbolted or cut into panels, and the metal goes to recycling. Plastic sheds are light and quick. Whatever the shed is made of, Calvin needs a path wide enough to carry the pieces to the truck.
If the shed has already fallen in, send a photo anyway. A collapsed shed is still a normal job.
